Home is where you feel protected. It’s where you cook, shower, sleep—and where you can just be yourself. Yes, even walking around naked!
My 4-year-old son, who is both adorable and full of energy, LOVES to be naked. I’m not sure if this is just a boy thing, but every time he heads to the bathroom for his number two, he strips down completely and sings songs from his iPad until he’s done. And before a shower? He runs around the entire house doing what we call his “naked dance.” It’s hilarious—and I find it absolutely adorable.
If you have a little one who does something similar, I see you. I imagine you nodding your head and smiling right now because—same.
There’s a saying: “Home is where the heart is.” And while that can mean many things, for us, it means safety, love, and a whole lot of laughter. It’s our safe haven.
